The 6th French Network for Asian Studies International Conference (26-28 June 2017) brings together researchers covering different disciplines or working on different parts of Asia. It is a place where French and foreign researchers from around the world, Ph.D. students and post-doc and senior researchers can meet. For the 6th FNASIC, about one thousand participants are expecte. The program includes plenary or semi-plenary sessions (conferences and round-tables) and parallel sessions (panels on recent research results or on collective book publishing). About 170 panel sessions are scheduled, including all disciplines in the humanities and social sciences (history, geography, anthropology, linguistics, sociology, economic, law, political sciences etc.). They are organized into about fifteen thematic categories, which deal with, for instance, town and country planning, migrations, or gender issues. A Publishers’ Fair will take place throughout the duration of the Congress. Publisher will present their books and magazines on Asia.
