Paolo D. Farah (West Virginia University, USA and gLAWcal - Global Law Initiatives for Sustainable Development) was member of the Conference Organizing Committee on behalf of the European Society of International Law (ESIL), for the ESIL – SGH – KU – ILS PAS Joint Conference "The Crisis of Multilateral International Order: Causes, Dynamics and Consequences" held at Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), Poland on the 22 - 23 November 2019. Paolo D. Farah has also chaired a Panel on the “Crisis of International Institutions” and presented a paper titled "The Belt and Road Initiative and the Multilateral Trading System".
