Brand-names and high-quality products produced by minor enterprises in Hunan, a province in central China, are marching towards the Beijing market in the form of a “group army” for the first time. The products are shown on a sales exhibition centre. The centre is an exhibition hall of 3,000 square meters in Haidian district located in the northwest of Beijing, and a long-term sales exhibition will be held there. According to Hu Zaiming, the operator of the centre, it has so far gathered nearly 3,000 products from more than 230 Hunan enterprises, covering condiments, fresh agricultural and subsidiary products, characteristic handicrafts, tea, wine, Xiang embroidery, and so on. Most of the enterprises are the minor ones and most of the products are small items and are unique to the local or handmade with characteristic skills. Zhang Yi, CEO of one of the enterprise, said that he valued Hunan brands’ group power very much. ”It’s very costly and difficult for a minor enterprise to enter into the Beijing market alone. Enterprises banding together can better open up the market,” he added. The gLAWcal Team LIBEAC project Wednesday, 26November2014 (Source: Changsha Evening News)
